Brillo De Mujer Home is more than just a shelter—it is a permanent solution for women and children seeking stability after escaping domestic violence. For many, this will be the first place they can truly call home, a space where they no longer have to live in fear.
Unlike emergency shelters that provide short-term refuge, Brillo De Mujer Home offers long-term support, helping survivors rebuild their lives with dignity and independence. Here, women can heal, regain confidence, and take the next steps toward a future free from violence. For children, it represents safety, consistency, and hope—a chance to grow up in an environment filled with love and security.
Turning this vision into reality has been a journey. Repurposing the existing building into a safe, livable home has required extensive permits and approvals. It was a challenge but we fought for it, and we are getting closer every day.
The floor plan you see below represents the future of Brillo De Mujer Home. With the expertise and dedication of Shoreline Construction, we are one step closer to opening our doors and welcoming survivors into a place of true refuge. Brillo De Mujer Home is a testament to what is possible when a community comes together to support survivors.
"Here, hope will be restored, new beginnings are embraced, and cycles of abuse are broken—one woman, one family at a time"
Breaking free from abuse is just the beginning. We provide survivors with the emotional support they need to heal from trauma, regain confidence, and rediscover their self-worth. Through counseling, mentorship, and a supportive community, we help women and children move forward with strength and resilience.
Stability means more than just having a roof over your head—it’s about creating a sustainable future. We assist women in finding employment, securing permanent housing, and building the skills necessary to thrive on their own. Our goal is to ensure every woman leaves Brillo De Mujer with a strong foundation for long-term independence.
Knowledge is power, and financial independence is key to breaking the cycle of abuse. Many survivors lack the education or resources to take control of their futures. We provide guidance on financial literacy along with legal education to help women understand their rights when leaving a financial provider. By equipping them with this knowledge, we empower them to make informed decisions and create a secure future for themselves and their children.
